Happy Friday everyone! I’m extra happy today because I took the day off from work! My cousin and I are going to spend the day together. We are going to do some shopping and have some lunch, it will be a great day! This week I really loves me some Friday!
Today’s post is for this week’s Create with Connie and Mary Challenge. This week we have a color challenge…
When I first saw the colors I thought Halloween then I decided instead to go with a sort of longing for spring look. The base of my card is Tangerine Tango Card Stock. The stamped images are all from the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set and are stamped in Rich Razzleberry and Tangerine Tango. I used the Floral Frames Collection Framelits Dies to cut them all out in different sizes. I then mounted them all to each other with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then to a piece of Lucky Limeade that I also cut out with the Floral Frames Collection Framelits Dies. Then I used the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on it before adhering it to the card with some SNAIL. The greeting is from the Perfectly Penned Stamp Set and is stamped in Rich Razzleberry and cut out with my Paper Snips. I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies to cut out another piece of Lucky Limeade and cut off the top and bottom of the piece. The Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool is used to pierce the sides and then both pieces are adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a little bling I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper punched out with the 3/8″ Circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and adhered it to the card with some Mini Glue Dots in the center of the “flower”.
