Woodgrain Butterfly Thoughts

Posted on

Good morning everyone! Sunday already, where does the weekend go? I think we need to make it a four day work week, seems a little more balanced… no? Today’s card is another one that with a simple greeting change could be used for so much more. It’s a quick card that doesn’t use too much (sometimes I don’t realize all that I use until I go to upload the pictures to my blog!!) and has a clean and simple design. I used another “new to me” item, the Woodgrain Background Stamp, and I am a huge fan. It’s nice and subtle stamped in Crumb Cake Ink on Crumb Cake Card Stock and mounted to a Not Quite Navy base. I stamped the images in Not Quite Navy Ink from the Flight of the Butterfly Wood Mount Set and punched them out with the Butterfly Punch. The greeting is from the Word Play Set and is also stamped in Not Quite Navy Ink and mounted on Not Quite Navy Card Stock. Sometimes less is more! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Stampin’ Up! products used:

Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Not Quite Navy Smooth Card Stock

Ink: Crumb Cake and Not Quite Navy Classic Stampin’ Ink

Tools: Butterfly Punch and SNAIL

A little over a month left of Sale-A-Bration, a free item for every $50 that you spend, if your spend $150 you get a free tote too!
