Beveled Window Friends Fur-ever

Posted on

Good morning to you all and most importantly… HAPPY FRIDAY!! I loves me some Friday! Today’s card is a birthday card that could be used for a man or a woman. The base of the card is Whisper White. I used the Big Shot to emboss some Crumb Cake with the Texturz Plates Backgrounds 1 Harlequin plate. The bottom half is a piece of Not Quite Navy and to join them together I used some Basic Grey Card Stock and punched both sides with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. I stamped the image from the Friends Fur-ever Stamp Set in Basic Grey and used my Blender Pen to color him in. His collar was also colored in with the Blender Pen and Not Quite Navy Ink and a dot of Riding Hood Red with a Stampin’ Write Marker was used for his little nose. He reminds me of my little Winston. Some Whisper White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon was threaded through either side of the large Beveled Windowpane. I used two brads from the Neutral Brads Collection and Sticky Strip to securely fasten it to the card over the stamped image. The greeting is from the Word Play Stamp Set and is also stamped in Not Quite Navy. I love the color combination and the Beveled Windowpane is a great way to highlight and image from a stamp set. I hope that this card inspires you and thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂

  1. Gasp! It’s Winston! He’s quite adorable in the beveled frame. (Is Winston’s birthday today and is this card for him?) I bet everyone would like to see a photo of your warm, furry friend on your blog, hint hint….

    • LOL! It does look a little like him doesn’t it? I think that’s why I got the set. Winston’s birthday is in April. 🙂 I’ll put a pic up tomorrow!
