Paper Craft Crew 49

Posted on

Welcome to Wednesday! It was gloomy here most of the day yesterday again. I think they said that the rain is finally going to stop for the most part on Thursday which will be good since it’s a holiday and it’s sunny this morning! I love an occasional mid weekish holiday, don’t you? I can’t believe that in two weeks I will be leaving for Convention! I have a ton of stuff to do before I go but I’m so excited to get there!

Today’s post – Paper Craft Crew Design Team Sketch…

PCCCS049-7-03-2013

An interesting little sketch wouldn’t you say?! The base of my card is Basic Gray Card Stock. The background is a piece of Whisper White that I stamped with the Dictionary Background Stamp in Basic Gray. On the left is a piece of Crushed Curry that I cut with the Large Scallop Edgelits Die. I adhered a piece of Raspberry Ripple 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon around the back before adhering it to the card. Some more Basic Gray is cut out with the Labels Collection Framelits Dies and pierced around the edge with the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool. The label and the buttons are from the Notable Notions Stamp Set and are stamped in Crushed Curry. The label is cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies and the buttons are punched out with the 1/2″ Circle Punch. The flower is from the Morning Meadow Host(ess) Stamp Set and is stamped in Raspberry Ripple. I used the coordinating Pansy Punch to punch it out. In the middle is a greeting from the A Round Array Stamp Set that is punched out with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch. Before I adhered the whole thing to the card I cut a Tea Lace Paper Doily in half and adhered it to the card. I really love the color combination, I think it’s warm and bright at the same time. Thanks for visiting me today to see my Paper Craft Crew Design Team Sketch Challenge card. Click your way over to the blog and see what the other designers have done with the sketch and enter your version in the gallery. Have a nice Wednesday!
