Welcome to the weekend people! Saturday morning and I’m off to Manhattan for a little bit. I have to drop off an order and see some peeps. It’s supposed to be nice again today and I just can’t resist a little wander around the city especially when the weather is perfect. I’ll drive in, but I think it might be a little too chilly this morning to have the top down, but we shall see!
For today’s post I have my Pals Paper Arts challenge card. This week we have a fun sketch from clever Nicole Watt…
Yup, there are some flags on there, yippee! The base of my card is Basic Black Card Stock. For the background I used some of the Silver Foil Sheet and heat embossed the greeting in Basic Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. All of the elements are from the Rev Up the Fun! Stamp Set. The tire tracks are stamped in Basic Black on Very Vanilla and backed with a piece of Bermuda Bay and Basic Black. The main panel is a piece of Bermuda Bay that I stamped with the Off the Grid Stamp in Bermuda Bay and backed it with some Basic Black. For the motorcycle I again heat embossed the image in Basic Black and used my Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker to color it in. After some fussy cutting I adhered it to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The three Bermuda Bay flags complete the sketch. I thought the Silver Foil Sheet would make a cool background, especially for a masculine card and the “chrome” goes really nicely with the Rev Up the Fun! set. Thank you for stopping by to see my Pals Paper Arts card for this week’s sketch. Here’s to wishing you a great Saturday! 🙂

Love this, Justin! So bold and graphic. You made a beautiful card with Rev Up the Fun. Woo hoo! Thanks for playing along with the PPA sketch challenge this week’
THank you Brian! Have a great day! 🙂
Bermuda Bay combined with the black and silver is a total knock out Justin. I don’t know a teenage boy that wouldn’t go ga ga over this card. Pretty darned good snipping job also! Enjoy your day in Manhattan. It shouldn’t be as crowded as usual with Metro North on the fritz!
Thank you Grace! I love the colors too! There was a lot of traffic on the way in, probably because of the train. It’s beautiful out so that makes it great! Enjoy your day! 🙂
FABULOUS use of Rev Up the Fun, Justin. Mine hasn’t yet seen ink; must rectify that. Love what you’ve done with these stamps, and the colours are great. So envious of you “popping in” to Manhattan right now!!
Thank you Christine! It’s a really fun set! I love to be able to pop into Manhattan! Have a great day!
Totally lovin’ this card! Awesome colors and great masculine card. Diggin’ the motorcycle at the angle. Poppin a wheelie, whoo whoo. Enjoy your wandering city walk. Another gorgeous day in Ohio and perfect for a wandering country walk.
Thank you Lisa! A motorcycle needs a wheelie right?! Enjoy your country walk! 🙂
BRILLIANT…again! Consider it CASE’d. 🙂 Thanks for always sharing, Justin!
Thank you Lisa!! Have an amazing day! 🙂
Great, great card. Have a good day in NYC! 🙂
Thank you Nancy! You enjoy your day too!
Very cool card!
Just gave me some great ideas for the retired set Need for Speed, that I’ve used once! Thanks!
Thanks Wendie! Have fun with the set! 🙂
Love the energy in this card…have a fantastic weekend! Nancy B P.S. Where in Ohio does Lisa live? I’m outside of Cincinnati & you have my permission to pass along my email address. Thanks!
Thaks Nancy! I’m not sure, but I’ll see if I can find out. 🙂
Love the tire marks, but especially loving the grid. You have used it on so many amazing cards, it is definitely on my wish list and moving closer to an order form! Enjoy the weather, cold and raining in my little corner of BC.
Thanks Lynne! I think the Off the Grid is great and versatile! Hope your weather brightens up! 🙂
I love everything about it; the motorcycle, tire marks, the silver foil sheets, the colors! Well Done! Thanks for playing along with us this week at Pals Paper Arts. I hope you join us again.
Thanks Beth! Have a nice week! 🙂
Love everything about this card, especially the tire marks. And I will have to get some silver foil sheets now. Hope you had a wonderful day in Manhattan. Glad to see you have the car back and running.
Yeah! thank Louise! I have had the foil sheets for a while and I can’t believe it’s the first time I have used them. I think they will work nicely with the Thinlits Greetings! 🙂
Love the color choices and the whole card! So many nice details.
Thank you Cindie! Have a great week! 😉
