Today was a busy day at work and a quiet evening at home. I do like it when not too much is going on when I get home, it’s definitely a rarity. I got to sit down and make my card and play around with some other ideas that were floating around in my head. Did some more blog research and started planning what I am going to do for my video. I had a some people ask about the mask that I used for yesterday’s card so here is a picture of it…
I used a ruler to draw lines and then my Paper Snips to cut out the sections. It is 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, just right for a card front. I like it made out of the Window Sheet, I can keep reusing it!

Now on to my card. My inspiration for today’s post is this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch challenge. This week’s sketch is provided by none other than Julee Tilman…
Round or Square… there seems to be a lot of round on the card itself! I pondered my card for a while and as soon as I saw past the circles it all came together. The base of my card is Whisper White Card Stock. The background is two pieces of paper from the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Stack mounted to a piece of Bermuda Bay with a strip of Bermuda Bay across the middle. I embossed a piece of Smoky Slate with the Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Folder and adhered it slightly off center. My snowflakes are from the Festive Flurry Stamp Set, inked with Versa-Mark and heat embossed with Pool Party and Whisper White Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto Vellum Card Stock. The Festive Flurry Framelits Dies cut them out perfectly and some carefully placed SNAIL holds them to the card. I choose the greeting from the Tags 4 You Stamp Set. I stamped it in Bermuda Bay and punched it out with the Label Bracket Punch, a Stampin’ Dimensional holds it in place. I love the way heat embossing looks on Vellum and the colors are some of my favorites! Thanks very much for paying me a visit today to see my Mojo Monday card for this week’s sketch challenge. Make today the best Tuesday ever! 🙂

Great card! Smart interpretation of the sketch challenge.
Thank you Brian! 🙂
Love the embossed snowflakes! I tried embossing snowflakes on window sheet yesterday, but without success. Your vellum ones look great though, so I might give that a go instead! Love the sketch interpretation too.
Thanks Joanne! Window sheets are a little harder to emboss, they melt easier. The vellum can curl but I love the way it looks! 🙂
Very nice. I love the color coordination.
Thanks Germaine! I too love the colors! 🙂
Good Morning Justin-thank you so much for sharing your template instructions. I really love the vellum snowflakes- they do add such a nice touch of color and light texture to the card.
Good afternoon Marty!
You are very welcome! Thank you for stopping by today! 🙂
Hi Justin:
Sorry I didn’t get to Manhattan last week but there was just too much to be done in that short period of time. I didn’t even get to see everyone I needed to but I got to spend time with my girls. Hopefully the next trip in I’ll be able to hook up with you. That would be wonderful.
I absolutely love your card today. I have never tried embossing on vellum but now I will just have to. The look is so amazing.
Hello Grace,
That’s ok, there will always be next time. Thanks, I’m glad you like the card! You will like the embossed vellum! 🙂
Hi Justin! Another great card! Love the snowflakes and it makes me want to run right into my stamp room and try this out! Thank you for the daily inspiration! Have a great Tuesday!

Thanks Lynne! LOL! It took me a bit I finally did see the snowflakes! 🙂
Love the card, wish I had the snowflakes and thinlets. Genius – using window sheet for the sunburst. 🙂
