Made it through another Monday. Work was a little crazy today because it was my boss’ last day for ten days, she’s off to Israel. The part that made me the most jealous was the flight, she will be first class on the second story of a 747! And I’m sad to say that I will miss her. The weather today is supposed to be rainy and snowy, hopefully less of the latter. How’s everything going in your neck of the woods?

I wanted to take a minute to wish my good friend Isabella a very Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great day! 🙂

Just in time for the Holidays Stampin’ Up! announces the Festive Flurry Ornament Kit. The kit is available starting today and only while supplies last. Here are the specifics:

All need is a hot glue gun for assembly! You can see a video of how to put the ornament together here.

My inspiration for today’s card comes from this week’s Mojo Monday sketch provided by Julee Tilman…

I have been wanting to use the Santa image from the Best of Christmas Stamp Set for a while. If you remember, I had a little bit of an obsession last year with an image from the Jolly Old St. Nick Stamp Set. The base of my card is Crumb Cake Card Stock. For the background I used a piece of paper from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack backed with a piece of Old Olive. In the middle is a piece of Baked Brown Sugar that I embossed with the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. My large circle is a piece of Old Olive that I cut out with the Circles Collection Framelits Dies and another piece of paper from Season of Style DSP Stack that I cut out with the very “Vintage” Circle Scissor. Next up are two flags, one Baked Brown Sugar and one Whisper White that I stamped the greeting on from the Endless Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set. Finally, we have the image of St. Nick from the Best of Christmas Stamp Set. I stamped him in Jet Black Staz-On Ink and used my Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Blushing Bride and Blush Blossom Stampin’ Write Markers. He is punched out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch and backed with another circle cut out from Cherry Cobbler with the Circles Collection Framelits. It really is a great Santa image and I’m still loving the Endless Wishes Photo Polymer Set. As always, I appreciate you stopping by to see my Mojo Monday card for this week’s sketch challenge. Here’s to a terrific Tuesday for all of you!

  1. I love everything about this card, Justin: the fun patterns, the greeting, and you did a great job coloring Santa!

  2. Great job with the sketch! I love your use of Endless Wishes! All the layers coordinate effortlessly. 🙂

  3. Hi Justin! Great card! Just ordered my Endless Wishes stamp set and I can’t wait to put it good use. This is a great layout and your choice of colors and dsp is beautiful. Your coloring skills are fabulous as well! We have a very cold day here in southern WI with a touch of snow on the ground. Just in time for your Santa card! Enjoy your day!

    • Hi Karen!
Thank you! Loving the Endless Wishes Set! It was freezing here today and we had snow this morning. That’s way too early for my liking! I hope that you had a great day! 🙂

  4. What? No sequins? LOL Just teasing you Justin. The card is terrific and that Santa is just gorgeous. You did do a fabulous job of coloring in the Santa. It’s really cold here in mid coast Maine this morning but the weatherman said a chance of some flurries but no accumulation. Talked to my daughter last night and they ate at ChaCha’s on Mulberry St. Saturday evening. Said the food was amazing.

    • LOL! Ha ha! Nope, no sequins today Grace! I’m glad you like the card, and yes that Santa is fun! It was so cold here today, I don’t like it at all! I will have to remember that place! 🙂

  5. Love it, Justin! Santa shines! Great take on the sketch, perfectly balanced and bold.

  6. I have been wondering how big the Santa is in that set, definitely will be ordering it now. Love the card by the way!

  7. Who doesn’t love a good ole fashion Santa Claus. Very nice coloring. All the different sizes of polka dots work well together. My favorite subtle detail of your card……how you positioned the loop of the ‘h’ in cheer around the ‘o’ in the of. I think it add that ‘little something’ to the card. Love it! Had our first snow here in Northwest Ohio last night, just an inch. So beautiful this morning when the sun hit it. Just like diamonds. Be on the lookout it’s headed your direction.

    • Yes, I’m with you Lisa! I love when you notice the little details! I would much rather you keep the snow by you please! We had some here this morning. 😦

  8. Love that card and the color combo.Great job on the coloring too. Finally just received my Endless Wishes set (was backordered). I have done a few cards with that Santa, I just love him! He has a “vintagy” look.

Frigid in SW-Ontario. Last night I had to scrape the frozen snow on my car before going home… today is cold but with a bit os sunshine at least. Have a great day.
