Love Simple Stems

Posted on

And that a wrap on Leadership 2014! It really did go by fast! I had a wonderful time seeing everyone. I can’t thank Mary Fish and the Pals enough for letting me be a part of their wonderful group while I was here. They are awesome! I have another picture to share with you, this one is of Brian, Bonnie and I. She is just one of the nicest, funniest people ever!

Bonnie, Brian & I Lead 2014

The base of today’s card is Baked Brown Sugar and my background is a piece of paper from the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. I used the On Film Framelits Dies to cut out a piece of Coastal Cabana and adhered it to the card with Multi-Purpose Glue. My greeting is from the Love You to the Moon Stamp Set and is stamped directly on the Designer Series Paper in Real Red. My flowers are from the Simple Stems Stamp Set. They are stamped in Real Red and cut out with the Secret Garden Framelits Dies. For the finishing touch I cut out a piece of Real Red with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and adhered the center of it to the card with Sticky Strip. I really like the colors in the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack and it’s cool that the new stamp set works with one of the current Framelit sets. Thanks so much for visiting with me today! I’m off to the airport!

  1. Hello Justin! I love this card! I am really enjoying this paper stack…love the blues/reds/browns together! Isn’t it funny when you are doing something enjoyable how fast the time goes? Sounds like a great time was had by all…I hope to go next year…Sounds like so much fun! Safe travels home!

  2. Sorry that Leadership went by so fast for you Justin but really happy that you got to go, got to present and had a fabulous time. Real Red is one of my favorite color papers and it’s so great to see it featured with some colors that are soft. It really makes it stand out. Have a safe trip home.

  3. I love the pop of red against the softer background on this card Justin. The Polaroid frames everything beautifully.
So happy Leadership was such a success for you. I look forward to the webinar (if we can get it). You hang out with some pretty impressive people! I love Bonnie too. What’s not to love, right?

  4. I’ve said so before and I stand by it: Bonnie Thurber is a bright jewel in the Stampin’ Up crown. Love her!

Also love the wonderful things you’ve done with those On Film framelits. I would have bet money that I’d never add them to my wish list and I would have lost big time! 🙂

  5. Hello Justin, I am a stamper (love su) I was just checking out Covention 2014, ended up on your site, love, love, love your work. The real red and pool party, love. Anyway a comment you made…. needed to do housework but craft area was calling my name & I thought that only happened to me.I look forward to following more of your work. Ty Keri
