SUO Challenges 88

Posted on

Sigh… not a happy Tuesday for me, it’s the first day back to work. I’m kidding! LOL! I’m looking forward to seeing my co-workers. Of course I would rather stay home and stamp the day away but for now that isn’t an option! I need to pay for them right?! LOL! I had busy day yesterday, went into Manhattan for a bit for a little crafty time with my friend Isabella. When I got home I tried to get some stuff done around the house but the craft area was calling my name, maybe tomorrow! Here are few more pictures form Leadership! The first one is Ann, Brian, Anne Marie and me, the new Paper Players! LOL! Kidding!

Below, I’m honored to be in such great company as Mary Fish and Lisa Pretto! That’s some stampin’ royalty!

Now on to today’s post. This time around at SUO Challenges we’re having fun with new catalogue items… YAY! 🙂

My card starts off with a base of Bermuda Bay Card Stock. The background is a piece of Crushed Curry cut out with the Hexagon Hive Thinlit Die. I used the Geometrical Stamp Set to stamp the black hexagons and filled in some of the spaces with Strawberry Slush hexagons. The tag is created with the Angled Tag Topper Punch. The greeting is also from the Geometrical Stamp Set, stamped in Basic Black, I used the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack to cut out pieces of Bermuda Bay and Strawberry Slush to fill in the O’s. A strip of paper from the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper Pack goes across the bottom. A pretty simple card but I really do love that Hexagon Hive Thinlit Die and a tag makes everything better! I appreciate you stopping by to see my Design Team card for the SUO Challenges. Don’t forget to head on over to the blog to see what the other designers have come up with and enter your card in the gallery so we can see your take on the challenge! I hope you have a terrific Tuesday and I’ll see you back here tomorrow morning!

  1. Hello Justin! Thanks for the pictures! It’s nice to see people having such a good time! Love this card! That hexagon framelits is so cool. You perfectly aligned the stamped outline hexagon image on there, awesome! I love the way you used the small circle punch for the “o’s” adding the right punch of color. Such a happy card, anyone would love to receive it! Have a great day!

  3. Good Morning Justin! Thanks for all of the pics and lively explanations of your time at Leadership!! I am learning so much more about Stampin’ Up and the creative people that are the heart of the organization! On to the card, LOVE the Hexagon Hive die and all the inserts you incorporate with it. Never noticed the hexagon in the Geometrical stamp set, but as a math teacher I have now put this on my wish list! Have a great day!
