Pals Paper Arts 188

Posted on

Hello from Manhattan! I ended up coming in last night to stay with my friend Kim. I took the train in and managed to stop at the Apple Store on my way. Who doesn’t like a late night visit to Apple?! It was nice coming in last night but it’s supposed to rain/snow today. It was a very good idea to come in last night rather than drive in today! Sometimes I have those, sometimes! LOL!

My card today is for one of the sweetest group of people, the Pals. This week over at Pals Paper Arts we have a simple sketch…

PPA 188

Simple sketches seem to be the trend this week! I do love a simple card, but we all know I love a layered up one too! We’ll have to see about one of those tomorrow! My card begins with a piece of Real Red Card Stock. A strip of Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper goes down the left side. I used some Silver Foil Sheet and the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die to trim each side of the DSP. The greeting is from the Tags 4 You Stamp Set and is stamped in Real Red. I used the Label Bracket Punch to punch it out. Another piece of Silver Foil Sheet is cut out with the Starburst Framelits Dies and some Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere them both to the card. A simple yet bold Valentine and the Silver Foil Sheet add that little extra something. Thanks for coming by to see my card for this  week’s Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge. Have a great Saturday!

  1. The Fresh Prints Stack is super great. The pattern you used ties in nicely with the Starburst Framelits and Bigz Die. You rocked this card.

  2. Very nice card, Justin! Love the color combo!

  3. Hi Justin! Love this card! I love that stamp set and punch as well! This is nice layout and the silver foil adds just a little something to the card. So nice! Have a great Saturday!

  4. Gorgeous! I look forward to seeing your creations.

  5. Love that spiky silver foil peeking out!

  6. Hmmmm. That silver starburst piece reminds me of a circular saw, or a pizza cutter. There’s a punch art card in there somewhere.

  7. Such a great card, Justin! I love this paper and LOVE how you’ve added the touches of silver! Again, it was so great to meet you in Houston!

  8. Such a crisp, clean card! Love that you tied together the starburst with the zig zag edges! Always love seeing what you’ve created for PPA!
