Paper Craft Crew 83

Posted on

Happy Hump Day peeps! It’s still chilly here but we’re supposed to go up a few degrees today and continue until we finally hit the 40’s by Friday! Not much to report about from yesterday. It was a quiet day at work and Andrew came over last night and we worked on some design stuff for Satellite Lane. They have a big announcement coming up next week, so stay tuned for that! I’ll be at their show on Friday as well and I’ll be sure to have some pictures for you.

It’s Wednesday and you know what that means, it’s time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I decided to use some much neglected supplies for today’s card, my Epic Day This and That goodies! Today’s card base is Calypso Coral and the background is a piece of Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper. The panel in the middle is another piece of the DSP backed by a piece of Basic Gray and the left side is cut with the Finishing Touches Edgelits. The two chevrons are from the Chevron Punch Kit-Digital Download and are cut out with my E-Cutter from a piece of Crumb Cake. The sticker in the middle is from the Epic Day This and That Designer Stickers. I backed it with some Whisper White and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The paper clip is one of the Hung Up Cute Clips. Lastly, the greeting is from the Just Sayin’ Stamp Set; it’s stamped in Basic Gray on Pool Party and cut out with the Word Bubbles Framelits. I really am having a lot of fun with the E-Cutter, I think the chevrons are really neat! And it was good to use some stuff that I haven’t used in a while. I appreciate you coming by to see my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge. Take some time to stop by the blog to see what the other designers have come up with and don’t forget to enter your card in the gallery. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  2. Hi there Justin! Great card….this has a masculine feel to me and those are always difficult for me to come up with ideas for. Love the use of your E-cutter and your arrow clip! Very nice! You’re keeping us in suspense about Andew’s announcement…can’t wait! He’s about due for another card, isn’t he?? 😉 Have a great rest of your day!

  4. What a fun card! I love the way you use the Epic Day things and pulled the colors from the paper. I can see many elements to pull from this card and use on one of my own. I am so curious about what Andrew has been up to. I agree with Karen — Andrew needs to design a new card, maybe about his announcement. Two more days until your weekend…I’m retired; every day is a weekend for me except that my husband still works. Have fun! Nancy B
