Yesterday was another very busy day at work. Danielle and I did get to go on a field trip in the morning to BJ’s, Target and Home Depot to pick up some things for an event that is happening today. Anytime out of the office is a good time! And guess what? We ran into my parents in BJ’s! How funny is that?! When I got home I made a card and watched Forever from Tuesday night, I really like that show a lot. I was also listening to Sam while I was making my card. I just can’t stop listening to that album!
Today I have my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge…
They always have such neat sketches over at Mojo! Today’s card begins with a base of Whisper White Card Stock. A funny little bit of information, I always start my posit with the base but to be honest it’s usually the last thing that I choose! LOL! The background is a piece of Pear Pizzaz that I heat embossed the dots from the Dotty Angles Photopolymer Stamp Set in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Across the middle is a piece of Soft Sky that I embossed with the Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The two panels are pieces of paper from the All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack. One is backed with Whisper White and the other with Smoky Slate. They are both adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My main panel is a piece of Lost Lagoon, I embossed the greeting from the Letterpress Winter Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pool Party Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then used my Versa-Marker to draw the border around the edge. That is heat embossed in Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. In the lower right corner, three Basic Jewels Rhinestones finish off the card with a little sparkle! I absolutely love the colors in the All is Calm DSP and I just can’t get enough of the heat embossing can I?! LOL!
