Happy Saturday everyone! I hope that you all made it through the week ok. I have to finish the wedding invites today and then later I’m going to go into the city with my daughter to see my peeps! If it’s as hot today as it was yesterday I think a movie would be a great idea! Today’s card is for this weeks Create with Connie and Mary Challenge. This week we have a color challenge…

These are three colors that I have never put together before but I love the combination. The base of my card is Basic Gray Card Stock. The top of the background is a piece from the Brights Stack Designer Series Paper. The bottom is a piece of Very Vanilla with the flourish from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set stamped in Pumpkin Pie. I used a piece of Pumpkin Pie Ribbon from the Clearance Rack to cover the seam. The flowers and the gray stamped plaque are also from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set. The plaque is stamped in Basic Grey. I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies to cut out the greeting which is stamped in Basic Grey on Pumpkin Pie and is from the From My Heart Stamp Set. Both pieces are adhered to each other and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The flowers are stamped on Watercolor Paper in Basic Black Ink (which I have found that if you let dry for about 10 minutes it is waterproof) and I used my Aqua Painter to color them in with Real Red and Pumpkin Pie Ink. They too are adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I hope that you enjoyed this week’s Create With Connie and Mary Color Challenge card. I’m really happy with the card and will definitely be using this color combination again. Thank you so much for dropping by and have a great Saturday!

  1. Your card is great. but I don’t understand how you got the 2 different sizes of the same design Apothecary Accents Framelets dies. Did you cut around the stamped image for the inside smaller shape?
