Pals Paper Arts 161

Posted on

Today is Thursday and it promises to be a very long Thursday for me. We have the golf outing at work today and they are calling for rain. That will not be good at all. I will be there from 8:00am until 11:00pm, hopefully it won’t rain. Other that that things are good, I went into Manhattan last night and I was home by 11:00, not too bad. How are things going by you?

Today’s post – Pals Paper Arts 161, a sketch…

PPA 161

I’m just going to make this entry by a few hours. I was a little puzzled when I first looked at the sketch but I like the way the card turned out a lot! The base of the card is Whisper White Card Stock. The background is made up of two pieces of paper from the Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper Pack. In the center is a piece of Smokey Slate that is adhered with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Hexagon Punch to punch out two pieces of Crushed Curry and the greeting that is form the Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set. The large bee is from the Backyard Basics Stamp Set and is cut out with the Backyard Basics Framelits Dies. I like the hexagons with the bee image, they are sized perfectly for each other. Thanks for dropping by to see my Pals Paper Arts card for their sketch challenge. I hope that today is a speedy one! 🙂

  8. Fantastic! I love the colors and images together. Thanks for using the new Backyard Basics. Isn’t the bundle fun? I wonder if SU will come out with a “mini” hexagon punch to match the Embossing Folder in the Holiday Catalog. I sure hope so. My arthritic hands aren’t so good at snipping anymore. Thank Goodness I don’t have to cut out the stamps anymore as well. Love your card and blog! Nancy B
