Now on to today’s post. It’s Monday and that means it’s time for the Paper Players! This week we have a fun challenge from Lovely LeAnne…

Paper Players #174

I was quite happy when I saw this because a little over a month ago I made a card that works perfectly for this challenge. I got my inspiration from Pinterest and I was saving it… just for this… yeah… that’s right! LOL! The base of my card is Gumball Green Card Stock. The little strip of paper across the bottom is from the Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper Pack. All of my images are stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla. The pine branches are from the “Vintage” Watercolor Winter Stamp Set and are stamped and stamped-off in Always Artichoke. My circles are from various middles of stamp sets and are stamped and stamped-off in Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, So Saffron and Blushing Bride. I choose my greeting from the More Merry Messages Stamp Set and it is stamped in Coastal Cabana. Finally some sequins are randomly placed in coordinating colors. I love the way the circles and sequins look like lights on a tree and the mix of colors is just fun! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Paper Players Evergreen challenge from LeAnne. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

  5. Yeah! The sequins are back, the sequins are back, the sequins are back! LOL Love the card. O.K. – so the reason I get excited about ways to use the sequins is that my daughter owns a dancing school hence, Mother often worked on costumes with, you guessed it, lots of sequins. As a result, I probably own enough of the things to cover the outside of the Titanic!

  8. Lovely Justin! Today’s card reminds me of the old vintage Christmas cards. Soft and muted looking. Really like the Watercolor Winter set. Too bad I don’t have it. I mentioned that I’m warming up to non-traditional colors for Christmas, if you check out Brian King’s blog post from Sunday, you’ll see what I mean. I sent in a card for his swap. Again very nice card today.

    • Thank you Lisa! Yes, the colors and the Bokeh do give it a vintage feel. I’m glad that you are liking the non-traditional colors more. That’s your card on Brian’s blog?! I love that card!! It’s so bright! 🙂
